| The Accounts Department was established in 1975 with three (3) persons; a Principal Accounting Assistant, Accounts Clerk and a Storekeeper. The Department has expanded over the years and now has a staff strength of sixteen (16) comprising accounting personnel and Storekeepers. Mr. Jonas Amegavi, the Accountant, is the head of Department
The Accounts Department has a computerize accounting systems to ensure fast and efficient services to both staff and the Centre's clients.

- Internal Audit
ACTIVITIES
- Is responsible for the sustenance of cost control measures at the Centre.
- Makes efforts to raise revenue to supplement government sources of funding
- Submits periodic financial reports to Council and final accounts to the Auditor General
- The department is responsible for the payroll and also ensures that staff salaries are
paid to them on time
- The department makes sure that receipts of materials purchased by other departments are
always intact.
ACHIEVEMENTS
- The proper internal control measures that have been put in place by the department,
have led the Centre to achieve its financial targets and have also brought financial
discipline to the Centre.
- The Department has also helped the Centre to generate funds internally to supplement
Government subvention.
