The Clinic has an Out-Patient Department (OPD) with a clinical laboratory and dispensary manned by medical personnel. Herbal medicines developed and produced by the Centre are prescribed to patients. The average daily attendance is 90-100 patients. |
A modest herbarium with over 80% of voucher specimens of Ghanaian medicinal plants. It also has an electronic database of information on GHanaian and non-Ghanaian medicinal plants. |
Our Arboretum has a total of 750 acre arborata located at three different vegetational zones in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Ex-situ and In-situ conservation programs are currently in progress to protect selected and useful medicinal plant species. |
We have a modest library for staff, students and other researchers from other institutions. Plans are afoot to expand and upgrade the facility to improves service to patients. |
We have a well maintained animal house for breeding and keeping laboratory animals for safety and efficacy assessment of herbal medicines. |

The Centre enjoys full internet connectivity via satellite and provides internet cafe services to a limited number of clients. |
Our conference room is capable of seating up to fifty people. It is used for meetings, seminars and workshops. |
