The Department is responsible for organizing internal seminars and workshops, and also assists the Research Departments in report preparation, presentation and data compilation. The Department is equipped with modern computer laboratory with internet facility which enables the Centre to link up with the scientific and non-scientific communities both locally and internationally.

• Links the Centre to the local and international scientific communities through information technology and traditional means of communication.
• Responsible for the acquisition of relevant literature on plant medicine and related disciplines for the Centre's library.
• Responsible for the compilation and production of annual reports, brochures, newsletters and other publications for the Centre
• Responsible for the dissemination of information through the organisation of workshops, internal seminars and conferences
• Assists other departments in their data management and establishing databases where necessary
• Organizes ICT training for staff
• Oversees the running of the Centre's library
